Enpal B.V., Germany's first green unicorn, is seeking an EHS Manager (m/f/d) to lead our commitment to safety and sustainability. In this role, you will manage EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) for designated regions, focusing on compliance with legal occupational safety regulations, primarily in a remote capacity. You will be instrumental in building a lasting safety culture as we work towards our mission of green energy for all.
What You'll Do
- Manage EHS for designated regions with a focus on compliance with legal occupational safety requirements, working mostly remote.
- Conduct and document regular site inspections on construction sites and develop appropriate safety measures.
- Train colleagues and responsible persons to sustainably promote a strong safety culture within the company.
- Continuously develop our safety standards in collaboration with project managers and company management.
- Conceive and implement preventive measures to avoid workplace accidents.
- Analyze and document workplace accidents and develop measures to prevent future incidents.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree or training in safety, construction, or electrical engineering.
- Professional experience as an expert in occupational safety, ideally in the construction or electrical sector.
- An independent and structured way of working in a decentralized organization.
- Clear and appreciative communication skills, both with the commercial sector and company management.
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, and conversational English.
- Practical experience with tools like Quentic or comparable applications.
