Madison Energy Infrastructure is hiring a Solar Project Manager to manage the full lifecycle of commercial and industrial solar projects. You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. What You'll Do
- Manage the full project lifecycle for commercial and industrial solar projects from initial site assessment through commissioning and closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and construction teams and external subcontractors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and closeout packages.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar project management or construction management.
- Proven experience managing commercial and industrial solar projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical codes, and construction best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed (estimated 25-50%).
- Must reside in Minnesota.
Nice to Have
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Experience with energy storage systems (ESS).
- Strong network of subcontractors and vendors in the Midwest region.
