Vox Media is hiring a Social Media Talent Coordinator

Vox Media is looking for a Social Media Talent Coordinator to drive social media strategy and content creation for our editors and brand accounts. You will execute engaging content plans, foster community conversations, and bring editorial coverage to life through a personal point of view.

What You'll Do

• Work with editorial leadership to establish social strategy for front-facing talent on the team.
• Map out content plans, franchises, and personal POV for editors, building detailed short and long-term promotional plans.
• Capture social moments connected to content coverage, bringing it to life through the editor's perspective.
• Execute social media strategy and content for internal talent accounts as well as brand accounts.
• Create content for larger brand moments, editorial sponsorships, and experiential events.
• Work closely with editors to schedule social posts across all major platforms.
• Create content for Threads and Pinterest, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
• Facilitate and moderate community conversations on all social platforms.

What We're Looking For

• A digital native with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong journalistic judgment.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.

Team & Environment

This role reports to the Editor-in-Chief with a direct line to the Director of Audience Development and works collaboratively with various editorial and design team members.

Benefits & Compensation

• Permanent, full-time, benefits-eligible position with comprehensive benefits.
• Compensation: $68,000 USD.
• Part of the Vox Media Union, represented by the Writers Guild of America, East.
