Pearl Talent is looking for a Social Media Manager (E-commerce) to own the brand’s social presence end-to-end. You will lead strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. This role is ideal for a creative, trend-aware professional who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
- Stay up-to-date on platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging features across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Create and maintain content calendars balancing promotional content, educational posts, UGC, trending formats, and community engagement.
- Conduct competitive research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for brand visibility.
- Establish KPIs for each platform and track performance to refine strategy.
- Coordinate with video editors, UGC creators, and paid content creators to source, review, and approve content.
- Collaborate with the founding team to ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and values.
- Brief designers and editors on content needs, providing clear creative direction and feedback.
- Manage content approval workflows, ensuring timely publishing and organized asset libraries.
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and brand-consistent manner.
- Build and nurture an engaged online community through authentic interactions.
- Identify collaboration opportunities with relevant accounts, influencers, and brand advocates.
- Track sentiment and community feedback to inform content and product strategy.
- Write compelling captions, copy, and CTAs tailored for each platform.
- Create or adapt quick-turnaround content like graphics, memes, and trending audio posts.
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
- Optimize content with hashtags, keywords, tags, and platform best practices.
- Test different content formats, posting times, and messaging to maximize engagement.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years managing social media for e-commerce or consumer brands, including team coordination experience.
- Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, including algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Chronically online, with awareness of internet culture, memes, and viral trends.
- Strong project management and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent copywriting skills with platform-specific adaptation.
- Experience collaborating with video editors, UGC creators, and paid content creators.
- Proficiency with social media management tools like Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret social media metrics.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and content calendars.
- Self-starter capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with e-commerce social strategies, product launches, and sales campaigns.
- Basic graphic design skills with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with paid social advertising.
- Experience with influencer partnerships and affiliate marketing.
