Unknown Company is hiring a Small Employer Representative I-1

Intermountain Health / SelectHealth is hiring a Small Employer Representative I-1 to provide expert guidance on Individual and Small Employer health plans. You will help brokers and members understand products, rates, and options while ensuring accuracy throughout the sales and renewal process.

What You'll Do

• Train and assist brokers with the sale of Individual Plan and Small Employer products, including explaining plans, products, rates, and options.
• Assist and educate potential and existing members in choosing the most appropriate insurance plan, including Marketplace and off-Marketplace options.
• Attend various sales events and interact professionally with brokers, customers, and members of other departments.
• Handle a specific book of business and assist with other Representatives' books as needed, corresponding professionally and confidentially in accordance with HIPAA and compliance guidelines.
• Stay updated on changes in legislation and health care reform affecting the Individual and Small Employer Plan Market and assist brokers and applicants with this information.
• Input data and update the sales automation system accurately and timely.
• Maintain a monthly average phone audit score of 93.5%.
• Pass all testing administered by the department trainer.

What We're Looking For

• Two years of customer service experience.
• Two years of sales experience.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet programs, and navigating through internet based systems.

Nice to Have

• Understanding and functional knowledge of health insurance.
• Familiarity with Facets software or similar eligibility system.
• Experience in the health insurance industry.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with Individual Plan and Small Employer applicants and Insurance Brokers.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills, time management skills, problem solving ability, and ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly pay: $18.93 - $27.45 per hour

Work Mode

This is an onsite position based in Murray, Utah.
