Allegheny Health Network is hiring a Service Tech / Teamsters JH (Housekeeping-FT) for Jefferson Hospital. The role provides essential housekeeping services to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and employees. You will be cross-trained to meet department demands and ensure quality service.

What You'll Do

Complete major floor cleaning including stripping, refinishing, shower scrubbing, shampooing, extracting, and burnishing.
Operate and maintain automatic floor machines, burnishers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
Perform department functions such as linen distribution, trash pick up, stocking and distributing supplies, removing confidential containers, and assisting with traction devices.
Complete special projects including changing curtains, washing windows and walls, moving furniture, and organizing storage areas.
Maintain all cleaning supplies, equipment, and environmental closets in a clean and organized manner.
Clean all equipment after use and maintain in good repair.
Demonstrate professional behavior by following instructions, participating in training and performance improvement, and adhering to attendance policy.
Complete duties adhering to all safety and infection control policies, including OSHA, chemical usage, PPE, hand-washing, isolation procedures, and emergency codes.

What We're Looking For

Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Basic reading, writing and effective communication skills.
Ability to operate power equipment.

Nice to Have

Prior knowledge and operation of floor care equipment.
Experience with automatic floor machine, battery burnisher, cord burnisher, battery extractor, cord extractor, rotary floor machine, riding floor scrubber, and riding vacuum.
