About the Role
This position leads the development and execution of process engineering solutions for large-scale transportation projects, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and integration across engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of process systems for transportation infrastructure
- Develop process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams
- Conduct engineering analyses to support system optimization
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project delivery
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Oversee process safety evaluations and hazard assessments
- Prepare technical specifications for equipment and materials
- Manage process-related aspects of project schedules and budgets
- Review contractor and vendor submittals for technical accuracy
- Support construction and commissioning activities
- Integrate sustainability principles into engineering designs
- Apply industry best practices to improve project outcomes
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies on compliance matters
- Lead technical reviews and design validation efforts
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation
- Troubleshoot process-related issues during project lifecycle
- Utilize process simulation software for system modeling
- Ensure alignment with client requirements and project goals
- Contribute to proposal development and project scoping
