Mass General Brigham is hiring an Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA) to support the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. Under the supervision of the Division Chief and Sr. Administrative Manager, you will provide comprehensive patient care in this full-time role.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide patient and family education.
- Obtain patient histories and conduct comprehensive physical examinations.
- Arrange diagnostic procedures and coordinate specialist consultations.
- Implement treatment plans and communicate with referring physicians.
- Evaluate follow-up, pre-operative, and post-operative patients.
- Review and interpret diagnostic data, and order necessary tests.
- Conduct preoperative teaching and post-operative evaluation and management.
- Complete disability and visiting nursing paperwork for patients.
- Prescribe medications according to policy.
- Complete and submit billing for services in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate the interface between inpatient and outpatient care.
- Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
- Perform bedside procedures as appropriate for the patient population.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- 2+ years of licensed nurse practitioner experience
Nice to Have
- 2-3 years minimum of surgical or orthopedic experience as either an RN or Advanced Practice Provider
- Master’s in Nursing or Certified Physician Assistant designation
- Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License
- Registered Nurse (RN) state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) state license

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $120,390.40 - $170,456.00 annually
