As a Senior Technologist, you will take technical ownership of Revit-based documentation throughout the full project lifecycle, from Design Development through to issue-ready deliverables. Your role is central to ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with design intent across all drawing outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive Revit documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, details, and 3D views for client and internal review.
- Lead the coordination of technical packages, ensuring they meet programme milestones and quality standards.
- Resolve complex detailing, junctions, and buildability challenges while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
- Support Design Guardianship across relevant project phases, ensuring compliance and continuity.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, BIM teams, and external consultants within shared modeling environments.
- Coordinate discipline-specific elements such as joinery, lighting, ceilings, and wet areas from a construction perspective.
- Convert and integrate CAD data into structured, coordinated Revit models.
- Uphold document management protocols and adhere to internal standards and naming conventions.
- Contribute to the evolution of templates, libraries, and production workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
- Mentor junior team members through structured model reviews and hands-on Revit support.
- Provide technical oversight and escalate risks related to design feasibility or project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Tech in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in architectural technology.
- Demonstrated experience across Stages 1–4 of project delivery and Design Guardianship processes.
- Advanced Revit proficiency with working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and buildability principles.
- Proven ability to compile Final Design Development (FDD) documentation.
- Experience working in diverse, collaborative team settings.
- Site experience is considered an advantage.
