As a Specialty Clinical Intern, you'll engage in hands-on learning within community behavioral health settings, working under the guidance of experienced professionals. This role supports students enrolled in clinical specialty programs who are working toward state and academic licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and assist with clinical techniques and specialty practices as defined in your learning agreement
- Contribute to client assessments, treatment planning, and program development activities
- Apply evidence-based interventions with regular supervision and feedback
- Follow organizational policies, regulatory standards, and scheduled commitments
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an approved clinical specialty program (Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation when required for duties
- Successful completion of background and reference checks
