Hitachi Energy USA Inc is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer to prepare manufacturing documentation and calculations for steel structures used in major global projects, including offshore wind farms, nuclear power plants, and oil platforms. You will collaborate with international teams and contribute to departmental tool and process development.

What You'll Do

• Prepare complete manufacturing documentation for steel structures for international projects.
• Create detailed drawings and 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures software.
• Perform static and dynamic calculations of steel structures in SCIA Engineer.
• Calculate and assess welded and bolted connections using IdeaStatika Software.
• Actively collaborate with the Brno engineering team and internal customers from abroad.
• Participate in the development of tools and processes within the department.

What We're Looking For

• A secondary school or university degree in a technical field.
• The ability to work responsibly on assigned projects with a focus on functionality and efficiency.
• Systematic thinking with attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn new things.

Nice to Have

• Experience with steel structures.
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures, SCIA Engineer and IdeaStatika software.

Team & Environment

You'll join a large team with both senior colleagues (over 10 years) and junior colleagues. The team includes both mechanical and civil engineers and is part of the High Voltage Products Brno department. You will collaborate with colleagues and project managers in Switzerland and Sweden.
