Lead structural design and concept development for international mass timber construction projects utilizing cross-laminated timber (CLT) and glued laminated timber (GLT). This position plays a central role in shaping innovative timber structures, working independently while contributing to a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop structural concepts and execute comprehensive structural designs for global timber construction initiatives
- Act as a core member of the engineering team, providing technical leadership and design input
- Coordinate closely with internal departments including project management and process engineering
- Engage directly with external partners such as architects, consulting engineers, and quantity surveyors to align project goals
Qualifications
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in timber engineering or related structural fields
- Strong command of structural analysis software used in modern engineering practice
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with a responsible, solution-focused mindset within a team context
