Role Overview
As Senior Revenue System Manager, you will shape the future of revenue operations by modernizing systems, enhancing controls, and advancing automation across the quote-to-cash lifecycle. This individual contributor role sits at the intersection of accounting, technology, and operations, requiring deep expertise in revenue recognition, system architecture, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Immerse in the workflows of Revenue Operations, Technical Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Quoting teams to understand pain points and opportunities.
- Define and socialize a strategic roadmap for automation initiatives, aligning stakeholders across Finance and business units.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of revenue systems and process enhancements, ensuring scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Assess proposals for process improvements from Commercial and Accounting teams, prioritize based on impact, and drive execution.
- Identify inefficiencies across the revenue lifecycle and design practical, technology-enabled solutions.
- Conduct acceptance testing for system changes to validate performance and accuracy before launch.
- Analyze new product launches, shifts in upstream processes, and changes in go-to-market strategy for downstream impacts on revenue operations.
- Collaborate with IT, Revenue Accounting, FP&A, and Commercial Operations to develop integrated, client-focused solutions.
- Design and oversee data migration, testing protocols, and user acceptance procedures to ensure data integrity and readiness for go-live.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in accounting systems, revenue operations, or ERP and revenue automation implementations.
- Proven expertise in revenue recognition systems, internal controls, and process optimization within complex revenue environments.
- Direct experience with platforms such as SAP BRIM, Zuora, NetSuite ARM, or Oracle Revenue Management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across technical and financial domains.
- Solid business judgment and the capacity to link accounting principles, data flows, and operational outcomes.
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach, capable of leading through influence in a matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or Chartered Accountant credential.
- Background in a Big 4 accounting firm or a multinational public company with complex, multi-element revenue models.
- Experience integrating CRM, CPQ, CLM, and billing platforms in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
Technical Environment
Work across a modern revenue tech stack including SAP BRIM, Zuora, NetSuite ARM, Oracle Revenue Management, CRM platforms, ERP systems, CPQ, CLM, and integrated billing solutions.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid role with presence expected in a U.S. office Tuesday through Friday. Monday remote work is standard, with flexibility available under approved accommodations.
