Brightspeed is hiring a Senior Project Manager, Engineering & Construction to support our Planning, Engineering and Construction teams responsible for all aspects of the fiber build. You will analyze high-volume data sets to drive performance improvements, manage complex cross-departmental workflows, and provide executive-level support, helping us accelerate the upgrade of copper to fiber optic technologies.
What You'll Do
- Advise the Senior Manager of Engineering & Construction while supporting field build teams and address inventory support teams.
- Leverage monitoring tools, reports, and dashboards to detect performance drivers and guide leadership decisions for improving quality, productivity and efficiency.
- Work with the process team to develop guidelines and educational materials.
- Communicate training-based sessions with stakeholders (Operations, Marketing, Regulatory and Engineering) to support understanding of fiber network and address management fundamentals.
- Track milestone activities and KPI results.
- Work fluently in shared files and Microsoft Office Excel, handling large data sets.
- Ensure projects meet network readiness dates within time allotments.
- Create presentations to support leadership and C-Suite teams.
- Provide direct support to the VP and their teams.
- Collaborate with network and business domain leadership to design and implement future state processes that achieve program goals and end-to-end process engineering objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of telecommunication or similar experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience.
- A naturally inquisitive and detail-driven approach, with a history of connecting dots across systems and sources to reveal opportunities and risks.
- Usability and understanding of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Power Apps) and fundamentals of backend tables.
- Experience with Telecom Network Design systems (IQGeo, GIS, SmallWorld).
- Ability to create complex Methods & Procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft (PowerPoint & Excel), Adobe, and related systems.
- Ability to analyze data to drive strategic business decisions.
- Ability to build cohesive relationships with multiple departments through training, development, and accountability.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree and/or related work experience.
- Knowledge of Python, SAP, Fireworks, BidMaster, LeaseNet, Costar, JDS, WFMT, NDS, CLM, APO, FT3, ARMOR, MARTENS.
- Experience with Regulatory subsidy compliance.
