Techcombank is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead portfolio management by planning and coordinating financial objectives for a mix of traditional and Agile transformation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational consistency, manage resources, and communicate with stakeholders across bank-wide initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Design operational processes across the initiative lifecycle to ensure a standardized approach for all types of projects.
- Update operational processes regularly and facilitate the setup of new initiatives and tribes according to required standards.
- Support the development of tools and templates, and guide initiative teams on how to fill in and update progress information.
- Apply and maintain tools and templates used to track and report across the portfolio of transformation initiatives.
- Provide logistics support for the Head of iPMO and the team, CEO workshops, governance meetings, and serve as the contact point for building the Agile working environment for the Transformation Office.
- Consolidate and prepare timely, accurate progress reports for STEERCO, TECO, BOM, and BOD leadership committees.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-level resource planning requirements for optimal utilization.
- Track and control resource usage efficiency to ensure sufficiency for all Transformation Office units and bank-wide initiatives.
- Work with transformation initiative leads to understand portfolio progress and track the accuracy of inputs for tools.
- Work with initiative leads to change initiative status, solve problems, report key challenges, track progress, recognize financial values, and manage monitoring tools.
- Proactively guide initiative teams, Business Units, and Divisions for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Control quality and compliance of initiatives with required standards.
- Escalate issues or risks with potential performance impact via portfolio reporting to Sponsors and committees to facilitate decision-making.
- Support the iPMO Lead in developing an Early Warning System (EWS).
What We're Looking For
- At least 12 years of project or program management experience in Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
- Project or program management experience in a bank or technology organization, including banking product development, performance management, and IT project implementation.
- Demonstrated experience working in a transformation office to drive a large organization-wide transformation program.
- Strong experience in performance tracking and management, including the operating rhythm of performance reviews.
- Strong knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles with an Agile development approach for large, complex, enterprise-level projects.
- A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Technology, Business, Banking and Finance, or a relevant discipline.
Nice to Have
- Project management certification such as PMP or PgMP is advantageous.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Head of iPMO within the Transformation Office.
