About the Role

Stifel is looking for a Scrum Master to support agile team(s) in the delivery of complex solutions that deliver significant business value. You will partner with the product owner and team to facilitate effective agile practices and processes.

What You'll Do

  • Teach, mentor, coach, and facilitate the agile mindset across the team.
  • Facilitate and coach the team's progress toward goals and commitments by improving quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
  • Facilitate improvements in team practices and processes.
  • Run Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, team demos, and retrospectives.
  • Focus on improving team dynamics, performance, and conflict management while exemplifying lean agile and scrum principles.
  • Support and coach the Product Owner, maintain collaborative relationships, communicate extensively with the global community, and identify and remove impediments.
  • Facilitate preparation and readiness for Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies, support team and ART estimation, and help coordinate with other teams on the ART.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience on a product development team using agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in verbal, non-verbal, and written forms.
  • Ability to work together in a collaborative way.
  • Ability to build relationships both inside and outside of your individual team.
  • Ability to create plans to ensure work gets completed and organize yourself to ensure processes are followed and work is done in a timely manner.
