Pfizer Inc is looking for a Senior Oncology Account Specialist (Hematology) based in Detroit, MI. You will promote our oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists, educate the medical community on appropriate product use, and work directly with accounts to improve patient care. Your role is to increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value customers by linking deep account insights with product knowledge.
What You'll Do
- Promote a broad portfolio of Pfizer oncology products.
- Generate demand for Pfizer products within your assigned accounts.
- Develop comprehensive territory, account, and customer plans to achieve objectives.
- Maintain and build relationships throughout institutions.
- Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and build lasting partnerships with top-priority customers.
- Assess the needs of target physicians and accounts, addressing them with a responsive approach and appropriate resources.
- Overcome obstacles to gain access to difficult-to-see healthcare providers and customers.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as needed.
- Valid US driver’s license and a driving record compliant with company standards.
- Minimum of 4 years of previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience OR minimum of 4 years of previous Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care.
- A demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment in previous Pharmaceutical Sales or HCP roles.
- Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information to diverse customers.
- Demonstrated high degree of business acumen.
- Proficiency using complex digital applications and adaptability to Pfizer’s long-range technology model.
Nice to Have
- 3-5 years of specific Oncology sales experience.
- Master’s Degree.
- Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.

- Compensation range: $101,500 - $245,400.
