Role Overview
As a Senior Mapping Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the clinical application of advanced cardiac mapping and navigation systems. Working within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio, you'll collaborate directly with electrophysiologists, clinical staff, and sales teams across multiple accounts in the Lancaster, Reading, Harrisburg, and Lehigh Valley regions. Your expertise will ensure the safe, effective use of technology while supporting training, adoption, and long-term customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on clinical and technical training to physicians and hospital staff on electrophysiology mapping platforms and related procedures.
- Support the implementation and use of CAS products, ensuring alignment with clinical best practices and procedural requirements.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders to expand product utilization and support sales objectives.
- Partner with sales and regional leadership to identify opportunities for growth and improved clinical outcomes.
- Coordinate with local teams to schedule and conduct product training sessions and procedural support.
- Act as a field-based expert, sharing insights and best practices to improve proficiency across the region.
- Represent the organization in clinical settings, providing timely support for both scheduled and unscheduled needs.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations: a high school diploma with at least 8 years of relevant experience, an associate degree with 6 years, or a bachelor’s degree with 4 years in cardiac mapping or navigation. Experience in EP labs, catheter ablation, or clinical support within a hospital or clinic setting is essential.
Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain active vehicle insurance. The role requires up to 50% travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight trips outside the region. Ability to remain mobile during long shifts and operate standard office and clinical equipment is necessary.
Preferred Background
- Degree in nursing, life sciences, or a technical field.
- Experience in clinical training, medical device support, or EP-focused sales.
- Demonstrated ability to travel regularly and adapt to dynamic clinical environments.
Work Environment
This is a local, field-based role. While not based at a corporate site, candidates must reside within the assigned territory and be available daily to respond to clinical needs. Remote flexibility is supported, but daily regional presence is required. Occasional travel beyond the territory may be needed.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $140,000. Additional compensation includes eligibility for the Sales Incentive Plan, offering potential for significant performance-based earnings. Equity participation is available through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
