The Regional Recruiter plays a key role in advancing national enrollment goals through targeted outreach to high school students, counselors, and community organizations. This part-time, remote position centers on managing recruitment efforts across assigned regions, with a strong emphasis on travel during fall and spring cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage an annual 6–10 week travel schedule, including local, regional, and national visits aligned with admissions cycles
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure recruitment activities support institutional strategy
- Develop a thorough understanding of academic offerings and institutional strengths to effectively communicate value to diverse audiences
- Build and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community-based organizations, and prospective students through school visits, fairs, and outreach events
- Use CRM tools to track engagement, manage the admissions funnel, and ensure timely follow-up
- Represent the institution professionally at events, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Deliver insights and recommendations based on field observations to improve recruitment effectiveness
- Work closely with the admissions team to refine outreach tactics and boost enrollment yield
- Provide responsive, high-quality service to all stakeholders and support additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical skills are essential. Candidates must be willing and able to travel regularly, including nights and weekends. A valid driver’s license is mandatory. Prior experience in admissions or student recruitment is advantageous. The ideal candidate is self-directed, adaptable, and committed to equitable access in education.
Work Environment
This role is fully remote for candidates based in New York, New Jersey, or Arkansas. Occasional travel outside these areas is expected.
