The Special Assistant to the CEO serves as a critical support to the organization’s top executive, ensuring smooth operations and strategic alignment across global initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the CEO’s schedule, preparing briefing materials, and coordinating follow-up actions from meetings and engagements. The individual will act as a trusted partner in maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level administrative support by preparing correspondence, presentations, and talking points tailored to the CEO’s priorities.
- Anticipate upcoming needs by organizing meeting agendas, documenting outcomes, and tracking action items to ensure timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with program and operations leads to develop business proposals and strategic materials.
- Maintain and update stakeholder contact records, ensuring consistency with the CEO’s current messaging and outreach goals.
- Advise the Executive Assistant on task prioritization, project timelines, and decision points to keep the executive office running efficiently.
- Engage proactively with internal and external partners to identify and act on emerging opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%) and work outside standard business hours when necessary.
- Highly organized mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Work Environment & Benefits
This role operates under a hybrid model, ideally requiring two days per week in the Metro D.C. office, though fully remote candidates may be considered. Remote work is supported through principles of trust, communication, and flexibility.
