Zendesk is hiring a Senior Manager, Startup Marketing

About the Role

You will define and execute the global marketing vision for a startup initiative, leading a team to develop repeatable frameworks, integrated campaigns, and virtual events. You will shape messaging, manage digital presence, and collaborate with PR and sales teams, while building programs from the ground up in a dynamic, evolving function.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of regional marketing leads, promoting innovation, experimentation, and localized execution across global markets
  • Orchestrate startup-focused events within major company-hosted conferences such as Relate, Showcase, and the AI Summit
  • Design and manage thought leadership and digital campaigns to position the startup program as a market leader and drive engagement
  • Create standardized, scalable programming for executive outreach, including CxO meetings and introductions to venture capital and enterprise partners
  • Align marketing initiatives with regional sales pipeline targets, providing tailored messaging and follow-up support
  • Direct social media, public relations, and analyst relations strategy to strengthen brand visibility and community engagement
  • Manage the global marketing calendar and campaign planning, including ongoing programs, paid media, search, display, ABM, and PR efforts
  • Expand the global startup community through strategic event participation that increases ecosystem involvement and brand advocacy
  • Oversee event budgeting, logistics, and on-site coordination to ensure high-quality execution and strong return on investment
  • Advance event formats by integrating digital and hybrid technologies to broaden reach and deepen audience engagement
