As the Field Marketing Manager for the West Coast corridor, you will drive go-to-market execution in key government contracting markets, with a primary focus on San Diego and Los Angeles. You’ll own the planning, logistics, and follow-up for a dynamic calendar of events—including meetups, tradeshows, and partner activations—designed to expand visibility and accelerate deal flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of field events across Southern California and the broader West Coast, from venue selection and vendor coordination to budget oversight and timeline execution.
- Represent the company at industry associations, networking forums, and GovCon events, building presence and credibility within defense and contracting communities.
- Develop lasting relationships with event organizers, partners, and local leaders to strengthen regional influence.
- Produce and edit short-form video content for LinkedIn and campaign use, capturing key moments from field activities.
- Collaborate closely with sales and SDR teams to align event outreach with account targeting and post-event follow-up strategies.
- Share market intelligence on competitive dynamics, customer sentiment, and regional trends to shape broader marketing and sales planning.
- Support integrated marketing initiatives including webinars, campaigns, and research as needed.
Qualifications
You bring 3–6 years of experience in demand generation, events, partnerships, or related go-to-market operations. Deep ties to the San Diego GovCon landscape are essential, with strong familiarity in Los Angeles highly valued. You’re skilled at managing multiple priorities without compromising quality, and you’re comfortable using AI tools to streamline planning, content creation, and logistics. Proven success running both intimate gatherings and large-scale trade shows is required, along with a collaborative mindset and regular in-person engagement across Southern California and select West Coast hubs.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role with frequent travel across the West Coast corridor, including regular presence in San Diego and Los Angeles, and periodic trips to the Bay Area, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Denver, and Seattle. You thrive in fast-moving, face-to-face environments and are motivated by mission-driven work that supports American interests. The ideal candidate is a versatile operator who embraces AI to enhance productivity, builds rapport naturally, and consistently elevates brand impact through strategic presence and storytelling.
