Ryder Transportation Solutions, LLC is hiring a Senior Logistics Manager - Dedicated Transportation to provide leadership for a Distribution Center and supervisors delivering turn-key warehousing and transportation solutions. You will maintain a high-level customer interface and oversee strategic execution in this remote role, with travel to customer locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions as required.
What You'll Do
- Interface directly with the customer to resolve issues in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
- Identify and/or solve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
- Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees and maintain a positive employee relations environment at assigned account(s).
- Maintain open and effective communications within the work group(s) and with other work groups within the organization.
- May manage the profit and loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the organization.
- Lead a proactive safety program within the work group(s) consistent with company policy.
What We're Looking For
- H.S. diploma/GED
- Five (5) years or more of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field
- Five (5) years or more of experience managing, leading and developing direct reports
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain
- Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field
- Three (3) years or more of Profit & Loss responsibility
- One (1) year or more of customer interaction
- Ability to effectively manage Profit & Loss statements

This is a remote position with hybrid flexibility. The role supports customer locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and Southeast region, requiring travel as needed.
