What You'll Do
Lead and develop a team of District Sales Managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and strategic direction to improve retail and wholesale outcomes. Build trusted partnerships with dealer leadership to enhance engagement, profitability, and brand consistency. Serve as the primary regional representative, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and operational excellence.
Use market and performance data to identify opportunities, shape regional plans, and support national sales goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in marketing, aftersales, finance, and operations to resolve challenges and advance dealer initiatives. Regularly travel to dealerships to observe, mentor, and model effective engagement practices.
Ensure consistent use of internal systems, reporting tools, and company programs to drive results. Maintain strong visibility across the region, proactively identifying performance gaps and improvement areas. Represent the organization at regional events, dealer meetings, and industry forums.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years in automotive sales, dealer development, or field operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven ability to grow sales and improve dealer performance in a complex, fast-moving environment. Strong analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable strategies. Deep understanding of automotive retail and distribution models.
Must demonstrate effective coaching, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Willingness to travel frequently within the region is essential. A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required. Experience in OEM environments or high-growth brands is advantageous.
