Role Overview
The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a specialized pediatric burn care clinic in Charleston, SC. This position ensures smooth clinical operations, regulatory adherence, and high standards of patient and family experience within a compassionate, evidence-based care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct oversight of clinic workflows to enhance efficiency and maintain a patient-first approach
- Supervision, development, and scheduling of administrative and clinical support teams
- Ensuring compliance with pediatric healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Monitoring financial performance, including billing accuracy and subspecialty revenue opportunities
- Identifying and resolving gaps in referrals, authorizations, and medical documentation
- Creating a welcoming, child-sensitive environment that supports families throughout treatment
- Leading initiatives to improve patient and family satisfaction scores
- Addressing complex concerns raised by patients or caregivers with empathy and follow-through
- Applying data analysis and root cause evaluation to streamline processes
- Coordinating communication between clinical teams, leadership, and external partners
- Supporting recruitment and retention of qualified personnel with pediatric expertise
- Contributing to strategic projects as needed
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with 3–5 years of experience in practice or clinic management. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a healthcare setting.
Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, membership in ACHE or MGMA, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, and at least two years of experience in pediatric or specialty care environments.

This is an onsite role based in Charleston, SC, requiring full-time presence to support clinic operations and team collaboration.
