Wolters Kluwer is hiring a Senior Field Sales Manager to drive business growth by representing our products and services directly to corporate end users. In this remote role, you will proactively meet sales targets within a designated territory by creating new opportunities and closing deals.
What You'll Do
- Generate new sales prospects and qualify leads.
- Manage all aspects of a sales territory, including new sales and account management.
- Collaborate with team members on renewal, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to deeply understand their needs.
- Engage in moderate negotiations to successfully close sales.
- Manage, prioritize, and monitor sales activities and the pipeline.
- Conduct compelling product and service demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
- Provide detailed sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Analyze customer requirements to develop tailored solutions.
- Collect and utilize market intelligence to improve sales approaches.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (Production, Projects, Customer Service, Product Development, and Sales) to enhance the customer experience.
- Travel to attend conferences, events, and customer meetings as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years in Field Sales, Account Management, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of business, financials, products/services, and the market.
- Excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage your own territory/account and monitor resources.
- Understanding of business, financials, products/services, market, or account needs.
- Experience managing moderately complex or medium-sized territories/accounts and sales processes.
- Demonstrated ability to plan your own territory or account approach.

- Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $76,350 - $105,700
