Join Wolters Kluwer as a Senior Field Sales Manager, where you will represent our products and services with a deep understanding of customer needs. In this remote role, you will drive business success by generating revenue through new sales and managing a moderately complex corporate territory.
What You'll Do
- Generate new sales prospects and close sales directly to corporate end users.
- Manage all aspects of a sales territory, including new sales and account management.
- Collaborate with team members on renewal, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities for existing accounts.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to understand their specific needs.
- Engage in moderate negotiations to successfully close sales.
- Manage and prioritize sales activities within your assigned territory.
- Conduct compelling product and service demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
- Identify and qualify potential sales leads.
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure continued growth.
- Provide detailed sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Analyze and anticipate customer needs to provide tailored solutions.
- Collect and utilize market intelligence to improve sales approaches.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including Production, Projects, Customer Service, Product Development, and Sales.
- Travel to attend conferences, events, and customer meetings as required.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Field Sales, Account Management, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of business, financials, products/services, and the market.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to manage your own territory/account and monitor resources.
- Understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market, and account needs.
- Moderate authority to set and negotiate product/service terms.
- Experience managing a moderately complex or medium-sized territory/account, products/services, or sales processes.
- Beginning to plan your own territory or account approach.

- CRM and sales tracking software.
Team & Environment
You will liaise regularly with cross-functional teams including Production, Projects, Customer Service, Product Development, and Sales departments to enhance the customer experience.

- Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $76,350 - $105,700
