AECOM is looking for a Senior Engineer - Water to serve as a key technical resource delivering discipline involvement in water infrastructure projects. You will guide junior engineers and independently perform all tasks necessary to complete design work.
What You'll Do
- Undertake hydraulic modeling analysis.
- Perform surge analysis and transient wave analysis.
- Conduct hydraulic modelling and design of bulk infrastructure and reticulation systems, pump stations, and reservoir designs.
- Prepare project specifications, bill of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Work on water and sewer master planning and flood risk assessments.
- Mentor less experienced staff.
- Perform design development, design review, supervision, coordination, and design documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Eight to twelve years' experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- PrEng registration.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Master Planning studies, hydraulic analysis and design of bulk water and sewage infrastructure.
- Experience in the design of water demand management and design of water and sewage reticulation systems, reservoirs, pumpstations.
- Knowledge of detailed water supply and sewage drainage design and multi-disciplinary interfaces.
- Experience in the use of surge analysis and associated design software technology applications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Masters degree or equivalent.
