The Senior Demand Planner will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve demand forecasting accuracy using data-driven insights. This role involves challenging existing forecasts, driving SIOP processes, and aligning demand plans with business objectives in a global, growing organization at First Brands Group.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a constant relationship with the sales, marketing, finance, sourcing and manufacturing teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers.
- Challenge the forecasts from the sales teams and the usual runs (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers, budgets…) with relevant data analysis.
- Improve the forecasts accuracy (statistical models, software…) with transversal coordination actions.
- Coordinate customer projects with Sales and Supply Planning.
- Tune the forecast rules according to the demand and market trends.
- Analyze quantity and financial forecasts, report of forecasts KPIs, and propose improvement.
- Drive the forecasts meetings as part of the internal SIOP process.
- Drive convergences and divergences versus the Annual Business Plan.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in economics, engineering, or any related field
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in demand planning or related activities
- Experience working with transactional level ERP data and operational reports (orders, inventories, etc.)
- Excellent data analysis skills (including advanced Excel) and the ability to handle large and complex data sets
- Great communicator and able to interact with all levels of the organization
- Problem solver with a proven track record of improving business results
- Fluent English

- Experience with S4/HANA
- Knowledge of a second language
