What You'll Do
Assess insurance carriers' underwriting guidelines, risk tolerance, and operational workflows to guide strategic placement decisions. Deliver impartial evaluations of competing products and pricing structures to inform client recommendations. Partner with Account Managers, Executives, and Associates to design and implement customized coverage solutions aligned with client needs. Lead negotiations with carriers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Foster strong working relationships across departments and with external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance markets and underwriting practices
- Hold a Level 2 license or equivalent credential in jurisdictions where commercial lines are managed
- Proficiency with Windows-based computing environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Account Manager
- Post-secondary education or a combination of relevant training and field experience
- Currently pursuing CAIB or CIP designation

Work Mode
This role is based onsite at one of the following locations: 1661 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg; 6 S Plains Road, Emerald Park; 6712 Fisher St. SE, Calgary; or 5227 55 Ave NW Unit 306, Edmonton. The organization supports flexible work practices to support work-life balance.
