What You'll Do
Lead the end-to-end sales process by identifying prospects, nurturing opportunities, and closing deals that align with client goals. Use consultative techniques to understand customer challenges and deliver tailored solutions that create measurable value. Maintain consistent engagement with decision-makers to strengthen partnerships and support long-term growth.
Track all client interactions, forecast data, and pipeline progress within Salesforce CRM, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Meet or exceed targets for activity, revenue, and deal velocity. Support organizational security standards by completing required training, identifying potential risks, and collaborating on corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in IT sales
- Must reside in the Detroit, MI area
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a defined territory
- Comfortable traveling locally each week for face-to-face client meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in field sales at a value-added reseller (VAR)
- Experience promoting major IT infrastructure or cybersecurity solutions
- Demonstrated business insight to uncover client needs and position offerings effectively
- Self-driven with a track record of achieving sales goals

Work Mode
This is a remote position based in Detroit, MI, with a requirement to meet clients in person weekly. You must be able to travel within the local region to support relationship-building and sales activities.
