What You'll Do
Lead a portfolio of corporate clients, driving growth in foreign exchange, payment services, and deposit products. You'll build long-term relationships through regular engagement, business performance reviews, and customised financial strategies that align with client objectives. Your focus will include expanding existing client value by identifying cross-selling opportunities informed by market trends and data analysis.
Take initiative in acquiring new corporate clients through targeted outreach, professional networking, and leveraging referral pathways. Ensure all client interactions meet revenue goals and activity benchmarks while delivering solutions that balance commercial viability with regulatory expectations. Work closely with the MiFID FX dealing desk to provide appropriate risk mitigation support and escalate complex hedging needs to specialist teams when required.
Stay current with market developments to guide client discussions and uncover new business potential. Collaborate across departments—including Treasury, Risk Management, Operations, and Compliance—to ensure seamless service delivery and strong governance. Support internal reporting and contribute insights that shape team performance and strategy.
Requirements
- Proven background in managing corporate client relationships within banking, FX, payments, or related financial sectors
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and performance targets
- Solid knowledge of FX markets, cash management, payment systems, and deposit instruments
- Understanding of regulatory standards, including Consumer Duty principles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial products clearly
- Commercial awareness and aptitude for identifying and converting business opportunities
- Proficiency in using data to assess portfolio performance and inform decisions
- Organised approach to planning, prioritisation, and documentation
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and dedication to client outcomes
- Experience with risk management solutions is advantageous
