CVS Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Account Executive - Express Scripts to apply deep clinical expertise in a high-impact role. You will strengthen client relationships, drive strategic pharmacy outcomes, and help shape the future of pharmacy benefits. This hybrid position offers the chance to gain broad exposure and support initiatives that drive client satisfaction and healthcare innovation.
What You'll Do
- Lead implementation and upsell of clinical programs and formulary strategies through consultative engagements.
- Conduct clinical analysis of medication utilization and formulary performance to identify opportunities, issues, or risks.
- Develop and present comprehensive clinical strategies, including formulary design and health management solutions.
- Deliver complex clinical information clearly and compellingly to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Share best practices across internal and client-facing teams and maintain a strong understanding of clinical trends.
- Serve as an informal leader and mentor, supporting onboarding, peer development, and knowledge sharing.
- Support process improvement to elevate consistency and efficiency in clinical delivery.
- Represent the clinical voice in internal and external forums to shape direction and increase team visibility.
What We're Looking For
- Active U.S. pharmacist license.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts with organization, flexibility, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex clinical information for non-clinical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated presentation strength, strategic project management capability, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and ability to learn internal analytics and reporting systems.
- Demonstrated leadership behaviors, including peer mentoring, new hire onboarding, and representing the clinical voice in enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, able to pivot quickly as needed.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% to support client meetings and business priorities.
- Internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of client facing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Experience in healthcare and pharmacy benefits.
- Advanced degree or pharmacy residency.
- 5+ years of licensure.
