Highmark Inc. is hiring a Senior Business Process Engineer to lead, support, and facilitate process improvement initiatives across multiple functional units. You will provide consultative services and analytic support to business management, leveraging LEAN practices and Six Sigma methodologies to drive strategic and continuous improvements.

What You'll Do

Support or lead the definition, scoping, and chartering efforts for business process analysis and design projects.
Provide process and business consultation services including research, analysis facilitation, process modeling, and improvement techniques.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships across business unit management to promote process improvement impact.
Participate in planning sessions with business owners to improve processes and prioritize re-engineering initiatives.
Support business case development to identify change impacts to people, process, and technology.
Drive comprehensive business process standards, analysis, and measurement for assigned projects, including defining modeling standards.
Support the expansion of Continuous Process Improvement and business process engineering skills across divisions.
Ensure all process changes are reflected in the repository of process documentation.
Access and analyze processes, data points, and controls to determine sub-optimal performance and make recommendations.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial/Management Engineering, IT, or an equivalent field.
5+ years of experience in Process Improvement, including process documentation, metric analysis, problem solving, and cycle time reduction.
5-10 years of related, progressive professional experience.
5-7 years managing small to medium projects across multi-functional teams.

Nice to Have

Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or IT Development.
2+ years in the Healthcare Industry.
Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $57,700.00 - $107,800.00
