Role Overview
Join a growing GovTech practice focused on modernizing public services through technology. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping digital solutions for government clients, working closely with stakeholders across agencies, delivery teams, and technical architects. Your work will directly influence the design and implementation of systems that improve public service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end business analysis process, from initial discovery through to solution validation
- Engage with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and external partners, to gather and refine requirements
- Lead collaborative sessions to align teams around business goals and technical feasibility
- Convert regulatory and operational needs into detailed system specifications and user stories
- Work alongside architects and developers to ensure solutions meet business objectives
- Support implementation by guiding testing, validation, and user acceptance activities
- Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and manage changes effectively
- Assist in pre-project phases such as scoping, estimation, and proposal development
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced analysts
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of five years in business analysis roles
- Direct experience in government, public sector, or other regulated environments
- Proven ability to manage requirements for complex, multi-party systems
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, modeling, and documentation
- Experience with BPMN, UML, or similar modeling techniques
- Familiarity with integration patterns, APIs, and data exchange protocols
- Background in Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Capacity to lead analysis workstreams independently
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Work on EU-funded or donor-supported programs
- Knowledge of digital government platforms, national registries, or interoperability frameworks
- Exposure to project management or architecture methodologies like PM², PRINCE2, or TOGAF
- Pre-sales or consulting experience in a client-facing role
Technical Environment
You’ll work with modeling tools supporting BPMN and UML, contribute to API-driven integrations, and operate within Agile and hybrid project settings. Your analysis will inform systems that exchange critical data across organizational boundaries.
