CoverGo is looking for a Senior Business Analyst specializing in health insurance and claims to help empower insurance companies to become 100% digital. In this fully remote role, you will work directly with clients and our technical teams to solve complex business problems and design effective solutions.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop analytical solutions.
- Plan and design simple to semi-complex business processes and system modifications.
- Make recommendations to improve and support business activities.
- Gather business requirements through work sessions and interviews; analyze and document complex requirements.
- Create complex test case scenarios and monitor/oversee testing to verify requirements are met.
- Develop business requirements documents and user stories.
- May plan, allocate, and monitor the work of other business analysts.
- Understand systems and data to surface actionable insights.
- Assist in providing time estimates for project tasks and aid in updating process documentation.
- Develop a basic understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile apps or web portals.
- Support QA, UAT, and Release phases via defect analysis and change maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- A degree in Business, IT, or any relevant field.
- Previous experience working in the health insurance industry and with claims processes.
- Knowledge of business analysis concepts: defining requirements, translating to technical solutions, and Agile approach.
- Business analysis skills including facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment.
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation, and documenting system functionality, data integration, and workflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Insurtech experience.
- Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III.
- Technical writing skills.
