CoverGo is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will bridge the gap between our clients and technical teams, focusing on the health insurance industry. You will be instrumental in solving complex business problems, designing processes, and translating requirements into actionable solutions within an Agile framework.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop analytical solutions.
- Plan, design, and document business processes and system modifications, from simple to semi-complex.
- Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements through techniques like work sessions and interviews.
- Communicate requirements clearly to all appropriate parties.
- Create complex test case scenarios and oversee testing to verify client requirements are met.
- Develop business requirements documents and user stories.
- May plan, allocate, and monitor the work of other business analysts.
- Understand systems and data to surface actionable insights.
- Assist in providing time estimates for project tasks and updating process documentation.
- Develop a basic understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.
- Support QA, UAT, and Release phases through defect analysis and change maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- A degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field.
- Previous experience working in the health insurance industry is required.
- Knowledge of business analysis concepts: defining requirements, translating to technical solutions, and using an Agile approach to prioritize work into epics and sprints.
- Skills in facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is a must.
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation and documenting system functionality, data integration, and workflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III.
