CoverGo is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our remote team and focus on our health insurance clients. You will be responsible for identifying business problems, designing solutions, gathering requirements, and supporting project phases within an Agile environment, empowering insurance companies to become 100% digital.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop analytical solutions.
- Plan and design business processes and system modifications.
- Make recommendations to improve and support business activities.
- Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements and processes.
- Create complex test case scenarios and monitor testing of business applications.
- Develop business requirements documents and user stories.
- May plan, allocate, and monitor work of other business analysts.
- Understand systems and data to surface actionable insights.
- Assist in providing time estimates for project tasks.
- Aid in updating process and procedural documentation.
- Develop basic understanding of technical development cycles for applications.
- Support QA, UAT, and Release phases via defect analysis and change maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- A degree in Business, IT, or any relevant field.
- Previous experience working in the health insurance industry.
- Knowledge of business analysis concepts: defining requirements, translating to technical solutions, and Agile prioritization.
- Business analysis skills including facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
- Good organizational/time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment.
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation, and documenting system functionality, data integration, and workflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must be willing to work in CET hours (Central European Time).
Nice to Have
- Insurtech experience.
- Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is an added advantage.
- Technical writing skills.
