CoverGo is hiring a Senior Business Analyst - Health Insurance, Claims. In this fully remote role, you will be a key bridge between our clients and technical teams, focusing on the health insurance domain to define requirements and craft solutions that streamline claims processes and enhance digital insurance platforms.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop the right analytical solutions.
- Plan and design simple to semi-complex business processes and system modifications.
- Gather business requirements through techniques like work sessions and interviews; analyze and document complex business requirements.
- Create complex test case scenarios and oversee the testing of business applications to verify requirements are met.
- Develop business requirements documents and user stories to support modifications.
- Understand systems and related data to surface actionable insights and assist in providing time estimates for project tasks.
- Support QA, UAT, and Release phases via defect analysis and change maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain.
- Previous experience working specifically in the health insurance industry.
- Extensive experience in insurance claims processes.
- A degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field.
- Knowledge of business analysis concepts: defining requirements, translating to technical solutions, and an Agile approach.
- Skills in facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
- Good organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment.
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation and documenting system functionality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Insurtech experience.
- Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS, LOMA, or III.
- Technical writing skills.
