Stride Build seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and connect with technology leaders. In this role, you'll generate leads and build lasting relationships through a consultative approach, presenting our AI and software services as solutions to client challenges.
What You'll Do
- Generate and qualify leads through multiple high-impact channels including industry conferences, tradeshows, and networking events.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise-level technology leaders across various industries.
- Originate and nurture business relationships that result in qualified meeting opportunities.
- Present Stride's unique AI-accelerated services tailored to the needs of potential clients' senior executives.
- Develop and maintain a robust lead pipeline through consistent networking and creative follow-up activities.
- Apply critical thinking to connect our service and product offerings to prospects' specific technology challenges.
- Manage CRM activities with all prospect interactions and lead qualification data.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time for events and meetings (mix of local and national travel).
What We're Looking For
- 3-8 years of experience with proven success in top-of-funnel lead generation.
- Proven success selling technology services (not just products).
- Proven success in consistent networking and relationship building.
- Proven success in in-person event participation (conferences, tradeshows, networking events).
- Proven success in multi-channel prospecting including LinkedIn, email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technology.
- Relentless networking drive.
- Strong in-person networking skills.
- Compelling communication skills for persuasive pitches.
- Persistence through rejection.
- Self-starter mentality.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling custom software development or AI/ML services.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation quotas.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales approaches.
- Understanding of enterprise technology decision-making processes.
