About the Role
The role involves designing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of a fleet management system. The candidate will work closely with development and QA teams to identify issues and improve software quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for web and API components
- Collaborate with developers and quality assurance engineers to refine testing processes
- Identify, report, and track software defects using issue management tools
- Design test plans based on functional and technical specifications
- Execute regression, integration, and system-level testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor test execution results and analyze failure patterns
- Ensure test coverage aligns with application features and updates
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Document testing procedures and maintain knowledge repositories
- Validate backend services and database interactions
- Support performance and load testing initiatives
- Contribute to test environment setup and configuration
- Provide feedback on user stories from a quality assurance perspective
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria for new features
Nice to Have
- Experience with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms
- Prior work in transportation or logistics software domains
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
