Responsibilities

  • Manage legal risks associated with new business initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to align legal strategy with operational goals
  • Oversee external counsel when engaged for specialized matters
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and industry standards
  • Lead contract lifecycle management from initiation to execution
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory obligations
  • Develop and deliver legal training to non-legal personnel
  • Monitor changes in legislation that may impact business operations
  • Assist in the development of standard legal templates and playbooks
  • Represent legal function in cross-functional working groups
  • Coordinate with compliance officers to address regulatory inquiries
  • Evaluate third-party vendor agreements for legal sufficiency
