Position: Senior Analyst/Associate, Impact Partners
Role Overview
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, this role supports the development and scaling of impact enterprises across Vietnam and key markets in Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. You will play a central part in advancing investment readiness, transaction support, and platform expansion for a growing network of sustainable businesses. The position combines financial advisory, research, and cross-border coordination to strengthen market-based solutions for social and environmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities for impact enterprises, with a focus on Vietnam’s SME landscape.
- Deliver technical support to help businesses prepare for investment, including financial modeling, valuation, and deal documentation.
- Develop investor-ready materials such as pitch decks, investment briefs, and financial analyses.
- Expand and manage relationships with investors, supporting onboarding and advisory services before and after transactions.
- Coordinate with project teams to align technical assistance efforts and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Monitor and update project trackers, contribute to reporting, and support the preparation of internal and external deliverables.
- Conduct market and sector research on economic trends, capital flows, industry dynamics, and risks affecting impact sectors.
- Lead impact verification processes using IIX Values, including site visits and assessment reporting.
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in analysis, documentation, and communication.
- Support stakeholder coordination, meeting logistics, and the development of proposals and presentations.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. A graduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) is strongly preferred. At least three years of experience in corporate finance, investment advisory, or consulting is required, with demonstrated skills in financial modeling, valuation (DCF and comparable analysis), and clear written communication.
Fluency in English is essential. Experience working with investors, entrepreneurs, and cross-border stakeholders is highly valued. You must be proficient in MS Office, comfortable in remote, multicultural environments, and passionate about sustainable development.
Preferred Background
- Experience in sectors such as renewable energy, inclusive finance, healthcare, education, agriculture, or waste management.
- Additional language proficiency in regional or international languages.
- Field experience in developing countries or with international NGOs.
