LegalMatch Philippines is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role focused on execution, accuracy, and delivery rather than people management. You will support complex accounting operations in our growing SaaS environment, working closely with U.S.-based stakeholders to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and dependable reporting.
What You'll Do
- Perform hands-on general accounting work to support day-to-day finance operations
- Prepare, maintain, and support recurring financial reports, including semi-monthly reports
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across systems and reports
- Demonstrate understanding of reconciliations and support financial data accuracy when needed
- Provide ad hoc accounting support to finance leadership as business needs evolve
- Work closely with U.S.-based stakeholders during overlapping hours to support timely decisions
- Communicate progress clearly, including timelines, risks, and capacity
- Proactively clarify expectations and deliverables with stakeholders
- Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes, documentation, and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales Ops, Analytics) when financial coordination is required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience performing hands-on, complex accounting work, ideally in a SaaS environment
- Strong proficiency in preparing, maintaining, and supporting detailed recurring financial reports
- Demonstrated skill in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data across systems
- Solid understanding of reconciliations and the principles of financial data integrity
- Ability to provide reliable ad hoc accounting support to leadership as needs evolve
- Experience working effectively with U.S.-based or international stakeholders, aligning with overlapping hours
- Excellent communication skills, with a track record of clearly articulating progress, timelines, and risks
- A proactive approach to clarifying stakeholder expectations and deliverables
- An analytical mindset focused on identifying improvements to processes, documentation, and efficiency
