C001 Sourcewell is hiring a Senior Account Representative - State Agencies to generate revenue by representing our enterprise solutions. In this remote role, you will utilize a relational approach to establish trust and represent Sourcewell at industry events to increase solution adoption.
What You'll Do
- Generate revenue by representing Sourcewell’s enterprise solutions.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor using a relational approach.
- Represent Sourcewell at industry tradeshows, conferences, and networking events.
- Implement strategies to increase the use of our enterprise solutions.
- Assist Account Executives with a regional strategic plan to achieve or exceed goals for assigned accounts.
- Research and qualify new leads, and nurture existing leads for the Account Executive team.
- Collaborate with the Account Executive team to identify potential leads and schedule meetings.
- Research and understand enterprise solutions to expand awareness of compatible contracts, products, or services.
- Accurately document participants' interactions, concerns, and resolutions in Salesforce.
- Research and have a basic understanding of government structure and legal requirements of your assigned region.
- Communicate regularly with participating agencies.
- Complete outbound calls with new participating users to understand their needs and provide an overview of solutions.
- Respond to phone, email, and chat inquiries in accordance with service level delivery standards.
- Communicate with participating users to understand their needs and make account updates within Salesforce.
- Coordinate flow of amendments or other documentation necessary for agencies to use a Sourcewell contract.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
- Serve as a co-presenter and assist Account Executives with presentations.
- Facilitate training or product demonstrations for assigned accounts virtually and in person.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts for the Account Representative team.
- Provide technical expertise, application administration, and training on Salesforce and other account-related systems.
- Participate in the development of standard work instructions, policies, and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field AND one (1) year of experience in sales management, P&L management, business development, account management, client relations/development, or other directly related experience.
- OR a combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of three (3) years.
- Experience working in a business environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Experience serving internal or external customers.
Nice to Have
- Two (2) or more years in a state government agency office.
- Worked in and/or with a state centralized purchasing office (e.g., Department of Administration, Department of General Services, Department of Management Services).
- Familiarity with state centralized and decentralized purchasing authority.
- Familiarity with state agency hierarchical structure.
- Familiarity with state budgets and fiscal requirements.
- Outgoing with strong social skills.

Benefits & Compensation
- Account Representative (Grade 13): $67,360 – $84,200. Senior Account Representative (Grade 14): $76,160 – $95,200. Salary may exceed midpoint and will commensurate with experience.
