3M was looking for a Senior Account Manager

3M is hiring a Senior Account Manager for its Safety & Industrial Business Group in Shenzhen. You will promote and sell the industrial adhesives and tapes portfolio, building relationships with distributors, key accounts, and end users to achieve ambitious sales targets within a defined territory.

What You'll Do

  • Promote, introduce, and sell the designated range of IATD products through demonstrations that highlight key features and benefits.
  • Achieve sales targets aligned with the IATD operating plan.
  • Build deep knowledge of 3M's product range, competitor products, and key accounts in your territory.
  • Collect customer and industry information, reporting significant changes that could affect future business.
  • Identify and manage nominated key accounts, developing relationships with key contacts to generate new business.
  • Conduct regular technical seminars at client sites.
  • Build and manage relationships with distributors, key accounts, and end users.
  • Update the CRM system with sales visits, opportunities, and account activities.
  • Train distributor internal and external sales personnel.
  • Continuously learn and improve skills related to the market, products, applications, and sales techniques.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience within a global company.
  • Fluent English in both written and oral communication.
  • Proven adhesives or tapes sales experience, or a background in industrial sales with a track record of winning and retaining business.
  • Experience managing a sales territory with multiple product lines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage a sales territory.
  • IT literate and competent with the Microsoft Office package.

Nice to Have

  • A major in Polymer Materials and Engineering or a chemical-related field.
