Insurance Office of America (IOA) is hiring a Senior Account Manager- Commercial Lines- Remote (Construction)

About the Role

This position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, primarily within the construction sector, by delivering strategic risk solutions and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a book of commercial insurance accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the construction industry
  • Identify client risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Renew policies by coordinating with underwriters and carriers
  • Serve as primary point of contact for client inquiries and service requests
  • Collaborate with producers to expand client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with policy terms and client documentation
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals and service reviews
  • Maintain accurate client records in agency management system
  • Monitor claims activity and support clients through the claims process
  • Stay current on industry trends and coverage developments
  • Meet or exceed retention and production goals
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive service
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and transitioning accounts
  • Support team training and knowledge sharing initiatives
  • Conduct regular client check-ins and needs assessments
  • Manage mid-term adjustments and policy endorsements
  • Respond to carrier requirements and underwriting questions
  • Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions
  • Promote risk management best practices to clients
