Material Bank is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive the acquisition of new brand partners and build lasting relationships. In this senior, external-facing role, you'll leverage deep knowledge of the Architect & Design landscape to connect brand goals with our platform's capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Own new brand partner acquisition, building a strong pipeline and managing the sales process from initial conversation through contract execution.
- Lead consultative sales conversations that align brand goals with Material Bank’s capabilities, tailoring pitches to each partner’s business objectives.
- Develop deep, trusted relationships with brands, executives, and decision-makers across the A&D ecosystem.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with new and existing partners, working closely with internal teams to ensure a strong onboarding experience and long-term success.
- Contribute feedback and insights from the field to help shape sales strategy, messaging, and future platform enhancements.
- Partner closely with internal teams to understand member needs, category gaps, and strategic priorities to refine targeting strategy and pipeline.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market shifts to bring insight into partner conversations.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in the Architect & Design industry, ideally within a material manufacturer, design-focused organization, trade association, or adjacent sales role.
- An established network and strong reputation within the A&D and brand manufacturing community.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with senior leaders.
- Proven success in relationship-driven, consultative selling and new business development with mid-market and enterprise-level organizations.
- Experience owning a full sales cycle, from prospecting through close, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
- A genuine passion for the A&D community and a customer-first mindset.
