P-1 AI is hiring a Senior Account Executive

About the Role

P-1 AI is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our mission of building AI's most impactful use cases. You will maintain end-to-end deal ownership, sourcing, developing, and scaling relationships with leading industrial firms. As the first sales hire, you will play a key role in shaping the sales team and its culture.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, negotiation, and closing.
  • Rapidly build pipeline via your existing network, cold outbound, and creative lead-gen campaigns.
  • Conduct detailed discovery with multiple personas, including engineering leaders, procurement teams, and executives.
  • Identify and track patterns in customer needs to refine our vertical strategy and product offering.
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve business development materials: pitch decks, product demos, case studies, testimonials, and publications.
  • As accounts scale, help build the business development function by hiring a team of sales people.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in business development, strategic account management, or customer-facing sales roles at an engineering tools, AI, or engineering services company.
  • Experience selling technology products to major OEMs in the data center and industrial systems sectors.
  • A strong network of contacts in the data center and industrial systems sectors.
  • Proven ability to build a pipeline from scratch, including identifying key target accounts and personas.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical, commercial, and strategic conversations.
  • Ready and excited to travel extensively for in-person interactions.

Nice to Have

  • Start-up experience, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; self-directed and self-motivated.
  • A background in engineering or technical disciplines in physical industries and/or in AI.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-moving environments.

Team & Environment

You will work closely with business development and customer engineering teams, reporting to the Head of Business Development. You'll join a team of world-class engineers and AI researchers.
