About the Role

LinkedIn is hiring a Senior Account Director to serve as a trusted adviser and account manager for our Nordic Mid-Market sector. In this role, you will be responsible for renewing existing solutions and seeking growth opportunities within LinkedIn's Talent and Learning solutions, with a relentless focus on bringing value to customers.

What You'll Do

  • Research customer business and prepare thoughtful questions and insights in advance of meetings.
  • Ask layered, open-ended questions to understand and clarify customer objectives and challenges.
  • Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the customer’s organization.
  • Shift communication style and content to fit the needs of different stakeholders.
  • Lead with solutions, not products, when making recommendations aligned to customer objectives.
  • Drive customer decision making by achieving shared vision and proactively considering value propositions.
  • Think commercially and apply business acumen when crafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Use data and insights to support investment recommendations or overcome customer objections.
  • Proactively mitigate churn risk by adopting a smart, customer-centric approach.
  • Engage customers throughout to confirm and clarify value and adapt strategy when needed to optimize ROI.
  • Drive customer growth by proactively identifying opportunities to deliver greater customer value.
  • Apply business acumen in account planning by considering economic, industry, and company factors.
  • Map all key stakeholders in an account to assess relationship strength and create outreach strategy.
  • Be disciplined in territory and account planning, forecasting, and quota attainment.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Experience working against measurable targets.
  • Business fluency in English.

Nice to Have

  • Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish.
  • Experience with SaaS sales, sales hunting, and Dynamics platform.
  • Experience with recruitment media and recruiting.
  • Experience working in the recruitment consulting or staffing industry.
  • Experience carrying a revenue target.
  • Experience working as an Account Manager or in Project Management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and forecasting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to find and manage high-level business in an evangelistic sales environment.
  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making.
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.
  • Ability to orchestrate the closure of business with an accurate understanding of prospect needs.
  • Ability to include multiple partners and members of the company management team using competitive selling.

This role follows a hybrid work model and is based in our Dublin office.
